Claudia's Grinder Shop Reviews
Have been there twice now. It's a small little place on Farmington Ave in Farmington. Seems pretty busy both times I went. So my most recent trip I had the chicken cutlet grinder. It was pretty good. Cutlet is tastier than most I've had in the area. Better than Tommy's Place and Cravings for sure. It's a bit pricey, $16.00 for the 8" sub. With that said it filled me up and I prob would go back if I was in area. I don't think I would go out of my way for it which is what I usually give 5 stars for. I would say 3.5 stars but not an option on Yelp. The other grinder I got was Italian combo but I wouldn't say it's that much different from typical Italian deli. The cutlet is one to get. Next time I'll try the chicken parm grinder which gets lots of love too based on reviews.
The best sandwiches you will ever have. Cannot go wrong, hot, cold, salads, all are great. I love the chicken cutlet grinder and the meatball sub. Great family owned restaurant with amazing service . It moved to be attached to the driving range. Have visited many times and will keep visiting

I was greeted with smiles and friendly staff. Nothing is more pleasing than happy friendly people in a service related industry. I had seen a photo on IG showcasing one of their sauced up grinders. I think it was a chicken parmigiana grinder which looked sensational. So that's what I ordered. The chicken was tender, the tomato sauce was sweet and tasty. Melted cheese and a soft bun was very enjoyable and suited my taste. The bun is NOT overwhelming or overbearing. I hate when the bread is too much versus the food which is supposed to be the highlight of the meal. This was my first visit here and it was a favorable experience. I'll be back to try other things and you should too.
We ordered the Italian combo and chicken cutlet, then as we were waiting, we noticed that everyone seemed to have a chicken parm sandwich, so we ordered one of those. The parm was the best choice of the three, but they were all delicious! Service was excellent - wait wasn't too long and the ambiance was fun! We'd just been to Parm in NYC the day before to have their chicken parm sandwich, and in many ways, this sandwich was better. The thinly sliced then breaded and fried chicken is so good! I'd like for there to have been a bit more salt, but I admit I like my food on the salty side.
I really like the chicken parmigiana wrap. Delicious combination of fried chicken with marinara and cheese. Pick up time was accurate and food was hot. Service was courteous. Inside dining was small but there is outside patio but Unfortunately I didn't see it. The shop is connected to a golf driving range. The traffic can get very busy so taking left turn out of parking lot may require some patience. Sorry no pictures this time.
I tried this place for the first time while I was in the area and it didn't disappoint. There is plenty of parking and a few chairs inside and outside. The staff were patient with me as I took time to read the menu and decide what I want. I don't eat meat so I opted for the eggplant parmesan and eggplant American style grinders. Both were really good, the eggplant was sliced thinly and the bread tasted great. It took about 15min to get my food after I ordered because it was really busy when I went. I would come back again.
